Ladies
Brazilian: removes the hair from the entire pubic region, except for a small strip or triangle at the front
Hollywood: removes the hair altogether, front and back

Gents
Boyzilian: all hair off, including buttocks and crack, but leaving a small front strip
Gents Hollywood: all hair removed including buttocks and crack 

Intimate waxing is a popular treatment but we realise that the first time can be a little intimidating. We can't say that it will be completely painless but it's probably not as bad as you think it will be and the more you are waxed the less discomfort you should experience. Afterwards you may experience slight soreness, small bumps and redness but these should subside within a few hours. Please arrive freshly showered in loose clothing and try to exfoliate the area for a few days beforehand to remove any dead skin cells. Dont shave or trim the area for at least 3 weeks prior to your appointment as the hair needs to be at least 1/2 cm long.

Particularly for a few days after the treatment it is important that you look after the waxed area. For 24/48 hours afterwards avoid the sun, hot showers/baths, swimming pools, saunas (basically, anything hot!) Avoid tight clothing, deodorant and perfumed lotions, moisturisers, etc.

An after-wax soothing cream is strongly recommended and is available from your therapist.

Ingrown hairs
Ingrown hairs occur when the tip of the hair curls back into the skin instead of breaking through the surface. Exfoliating to remove the upper layers of dead skin is excellent for the appearance of your skin as well as for prevention of ingrown hairs. Starting a few days after your appointment, gently exfoliate the skin 2 or 3 times a week and then moisturise.
